It will be a sad farewell soon for the lower Crown St eating institution, Southern Crepes.
After 22 years, Kay and Peter Farthing are bowing to developer pressure and have sold their quaint but perennially popular diner."It's very sad ... I can't tell people (about the closure), I get really upset," Kay says.Most of the staff have found new jobs, and Southern Crepes is now looking for a new home. Fans will have until May 1 to say goodbye.
